| (Excuse the overasked question. this is my first time posting t on MAL) I'm pretty familiar with 'anime humor', because a lot of shounen's have a considerable amount of comedy in them. I don't particularly like these comedic moments... I've only watched one ACTUAL COMEDY anime, that is Kaguya Sama. Then again, I never found myself actually laughing hard, maybe I'd let out a small chuckle because I like seeing what the characters are doing. And I've tried to find som funny anime moments on YouTube too.They're usually just the 'Boy walks in on girl naked, girl beats boy up' type thing, which is overused and boring Is my brain too 'western' to appreciate Japanese humor? Will I eventually find comedy anime funny if I keep watching more? I really wanna get into comedy anime. |
| Maybe try watching Gintama. I know it's extremely long, but I assure you that it will be totally worth it. In essence, it's a character based comedy anime, so if you find the characters likeable, you are definitely going to enjoy the show. There are a few references here and there that you might miss (I missed a lot of them myself), but that won't hinder your enjoyment. |
| Maybe you haven't tried gintama or the absolute 80s masterpiece urusei yatsura. |

Try out Grand Blue, can't go wrong, and if you end up liking the anime, swap over to the manga and have an insanely fun time. Also Prison School was pretty funny from what I recall, but I was a lot different when I saw it the first time, it was some years ago. If you want something with more artistic style give Space Dandy a try, its a masterclass in artistic expression, with great comedy sprinkled in! |

| Grand Blue is hilarious and it's only 12 (maybe 13) episodes! I see other people recommending Gintama, and it's definitely very funny, but its hundreds of episodes. However, if you have the time, then you should definitely consider it. |

| Konosuba will be probably the most natural and wholesome comedy. The chemistry of each character carries the show overall. |

| the daily lives of highschool boys, The wasteful days of highschool girls (lol) Arakawa Under the Bridge, and gintama. definitely watch gintama i didnt mention saiki k, the one anime that made me laugh the hardest. |

| You can go with with Astro Fighter Sunred I think, somewhat unnoticed because low budget art but I find it to be good superhero parody and it's only 13 minutes long so It's not too dragged. |

| Fumoffu is easily one of the most ridiculous comedy anime I've ever watch and its one of my all time favorites but still need to watch Season 1 of FMP to be familiar with the characters if you are interest on watching it. |
| You can try Daily Lives of High School Boys & Grand Blue first. Those two are just one-cour anime and their humor is pretty easy to understand. |
| I think it's too early for you to start Gintama, so my recommendations are Hinamatsuri, Grand Blue, and Daily Lives of High School Boys. |
| Comedy is my favorite anime genre and I still hate Kaguya-sama. So yes, I’m sure you’ll find something that can make you laugh. |

| I have a few here but your mileage may vary. Yakitate Japan has a montage of the wackiest overreactions over food even way before Shokugeki no Soma existed. Cromartie High School is a comedy piece that you might not appreciate at first but it'll grow into you eventually. It's one of the weirdest out there. Saiki Kusuo no Psi-nan's cringe comedy and tropes are great and easy to catch. You can binge this one but I'd suggest not to. Also, others might be already recommending this but I can guarantee you that Grand Blue is worth watching for some top tier adult humor. |
